Did anyone seem to notice that every guy Daria's had a relationship with, or wanted to have a relationship with, their first name starts with a "T" ? Ted, Trent, Tom...... in the words of Brittany "Ohhh.. Spooky".

Why would Quinn go to the Lanes' house NOW? After Quinn's heart-to- heart with Daria about David, Quinn knows she can go to Daria for any advice or comfort or help with "withdrawal pains" if she leaves the Fashion Club (or even if the Fashion Club leaves her).

Yeah especially considdering Quinn's growing maturity, she's realising she can be smart and cute at the same time. Quinn-Jane might actually work as a friendship....I was only kidding before, after all everyone knows, that Quinn will forever be Staycy's :)

This is the reason I'm so anxious for the fifth season to start...the character development possibilities hinted at in the fourth season are endless, what with Quinn's growing intelligence and its effect on her standing with the Fashion Club, Daria's new relationship, Jodie's ethical lapse (hey, it could happen again), Jane being Jane and discovering that's maybe not always best,Helen/Jake and their situations...even the fact that Tom is exeedingly wealthy. And what about Trent? The speculation on this ng alone should keep everyone happy.

I think it had been suggested this refers to Jodie mentioning her father's name (i.e., piggy-backing on his business reputation) when applying for a bank loan in "Partner's Complaint".

And as I noted in an earlier post, there have been three TOMs on the show: Tom(my) Sherman, Tom Griffin (see "Fair Enough"), and of course, Tom Sloane.
And IIRC, there was another "Tom" mentioned once on the show (one of Quinn's dates, I think), back in Season 1. I'll need to go back through my tapes & count all the members of the Tom-Tom Club (after I finish watching Gilmore Girls, of course!)
Seems the significant males in Quinn's life all have names starting with J: Jeffy, Joey, Jamie (she never gets his name right beyond the firs letter) -- and don't forget -- JAKE.
Then again, she did buck the trend when she fell (briefly) for David Sorenson.
