Sculpture's name II

A few days ago I posted a request to all you guys for a name to give to a statue of Daria I made.Like I allready said,it's her in her classical upright arms-folded dead expression on her face.

I got some cool names,but most were too long and I didn't want to use phrases that had allready been used in an episode.I wanted something that she might say without it ever having been aired-to make it unique if you will.

Well I was looking at her solemn expression sitting on her lil base and then it hit me.Tell me what you guys think:Good idea or Heresy?

She looks so unmoved by what surronds her that I had the idea to spoof that famous "star trek" expression (something I think she would do anyway),"Resistance is Futile".

While I could certainly use that as a title for it (she looks undestructible as it is!) I wanted to name it "Existance is futile".

One can be convinced of it by just looking at her.So...Good or bad?

Yeah, it does sorta capture the essence. However I'm a concerned that it might be a little too derivative. Wouldn't want anyone thinking we're a bunch of Star Trek fans (even though some of us may be).

If you decide to go ahead with it I think you might want to check the spelling of "existence" before committing.

That's a valid concern, but I don't think one Daria fan's sculpture could be used to make a sweeping generalization of all Daria fans. BTW, I would think that the Star Trek ref would probably go over the head of half the people out there anyway.
