US Daria TV listings for the next few weeks

I just saw paperpusher's TV schedule.

One word: Blech.

"Gah, gah dammit!"

What the heck is going on over at Mtv? I just looked att their listings for this week and they're only showing Daria twice, last week's new ep followed by the final new one. For a cable station that reruns everything they've ever aired (sometimes to death) they have certainly pushed out one of their few good shows.

I could understand them doing this during the off time, when they are playing only reruns for Daria, but since they have been showing new episodes they should be airing it at least as often as they have been. Is this wrestle mania thing that important?

And if that IS the schedule, well, now I see why God had to invent VCRs. (3 1/2 videotapes of Daria episodes are about to be rewound & rewatched --again.)

Before I finished reading this post I started thinking. I wonder if the lack of reruns in the coming weeks has anything to do with the release of the new video. I mean MTV wouldn't show the same episodes on TV as the ones they were selling on video. Any thoughts?
