I was watching the rerun of "I Don't" today and I noticed that the song at the end was different. It was the same song but someone else was singing, which was an improvement. I can't think of what it was called.
Did anyone else notice the change?

The show originally ended with Ani DiFranco's cover of "Wishin' & Hopin'", but it now looks like they've replaced it with what sounds like the *original* rendition of the song (which, in turn, does *not* sound like the version I keep hearing on the local oldies station!). Hmmm... a dispute with Ms. DiFranco over the use of her version, perhaps?
(FWIW, I absolutely *HATE* it when episodes are altered this way! Nickelodeon was famous for butchering "Ren & Stimpy" in this fasion -- the "Powdered Toast Man" debacle immediately comes to mind -- but I never hoped to see it with "Daria". A definite Jeer from me to MTV on this one.)

I taped the premiere of the episode, it's some lady singing... so how is it different now?

The repeat is now using the original version, which I *believe* was sung by Dusty Springfield (back in the dim, ancient pre-history of music... you know, the late 50's and early 60's <grin>).
