Cast the live action Daria film

For fun obviously. Who'll play the live action Daria movie roles? Guess you'd have to know your young actors pretty well to figure that out. Make a film pitch. What's it going to be about? After I win the 50 billion dollar lottery and fund the movie, who's up for it?

Yes, I'm totally kidding about those picks. Daria fans everywhere have already started sending flames... Daria the movie - lets make those kids beautiful and popular! It could have been worse, I could have said Keanu Reeves....okay, leo is probably worse. What could have been even worse is if I decided to post this as if it was actually going to happen - THAT would have dropped some jaws. At any rate, I want to see some fun responses.

How about William H. Macy for Jake? He likes playing crazy family men and he looks the part.

Jane - A young Louise Brooks (couldn't think of anyone very pointy looking)

Quinn - Natalie Portman (something intrinsically Quinn-like and twee about her)

Helen - Madonna (she just seems to fit the role)

Jake - I'll stick with William H Macy

Trent - David Boreanz (to bring in the baby bouncers)

Andrea - Marilyn Manson (he's obviously dying to break into films)

Mr O'Neill - Brad Pitt (he spends all his time banging on about how he wants to lose his pretty boy image)

Yeah, I vaguely remember that show. I think the principal was played by Melanie Chartoff (who was part of the ensemble of the SNL ripoff "Fridays" in the early '80s).

How about Susan Sarandon as Helen? Or maybe Holland Taylor (from The Practice?)

And maybe Heather Mazzarato as Daria?

Speaking of voice actors, I just watched an anime called "Aika", a fairly corny anime with lots of panty shots of girls. I saw it in Japanese two years ago and it was translated earlier this year into English. Apparently, in the american version, a voice actor for one of the main characters is Alvaro Gonzalez. Isn't that Trent's voice actor or am I wrong?

Agent Aika: Naked Mission. Interesting plot if not for the fact of the aforementioned director's obsession with the female rear. The overgratuitous use of panty shots is positively insulting to me, but if you like girls with glasses, Aika's assistant is pretty cute.

Alvaro's voice in it is pretty bad, actually. He does some strange french/spanish accent and his character is a dashing playboy!
