hello hello

i have returned from kefalonia, which for those of you who didn't know is a greek island, the pronounciation of which my mother has still not mastered despite having lived in greece for 8 years, speaking greek, and having been to the island twice. tsk.

today we went from 41 degrees centigrade in kefalonia to 15 degrees in luton. hahaha. on our arrival at the hotel (in this tiny shithole "town" called skala) we recieved an apology for the "cold weather"... it was *only* 35 degrees. shame. an excess of spaghetti, wine and kata�fi (shredded wheat soaked in syrup, basically) has caused me to gain a fair amount of weight. haven't yet dared to weight myself. oh dear. hahaha...

and i forgot to set the vcr before we went, so i have missed yet more s3 episodes. :(

I think the airport was specially located in Luton to give people a bummer when they return from their holidays.

No, that Kate person on C5 was lying, they haven't resumed s3, they've continued with repeats of the first season. Last week was ... I forget now. Some generic season one episode anyway.

my boyfriend lives in luton... he says it's full of psychopaths and drunk people... i'm not sure which category he fits best under. it's his birthday today, and i was in luton... weird coincidence, or something. i don't know (shut up alli),. happy birthday paul.

hahaha... that must have been pretty odd... we started getting kinda worried when we were at kefallinia airport (the airport name is spelled differently to the island name for some obscure reason) and we saw people getting off a plane from gatwick, carrying coats and umbrellas. there was my brother there, wearing shorts and a t-shirt... hahaha. ;) unfortunately we didn't have to wait outside in the rain for hours in luton; i would have greatly enjoyed seeing him freeze. ;)
