I LUV that song!!!Does anyone know who sings it? also, I have another question:Do you find it hard to believe that a hyper/perky person would be a HUGE Daria fan? Ok let me get this straight:If you ever met me in person, then I would seem QUIET, but once you get to me, I'd be loud/perky/hyper even annoying sometimes! hehe. Is anyone else like that?? Sorry if I ask tooooo many questions, I'm just curious. Ya know??!??I dunno WHAT I would do without DARIA!!!!!!! I reallly despise school(not b/c of the work, but b/c of the people)so watching Daria makes me feel sooooo much better, cuz I can relate to it!! :->>>>

OK, OK, calm down... remember, we had that talk earlier, we decided it would be better if you switched to decaf?

-Ben

Humm sorta reminds me of someone Daria used to hang around with (sort of)...... ahahahah I am Cornhoolio... I need TP for my bunghole :-)

Apologies to any non B&B fans here :-)

My favourite episode, apart from that one, was where they wash their teacher's 8-tracks in the kitchen sink, and try and get them to load into the video machine with the help of a hammer.

Heheheh yeah I have seen that one pretty funny, at the risk of descussing B&B on a.f.d.though it is sorta on topic in a back handed way, especially if the B&B ep has Daria in it....but one of my favorates is the "Prank Call" ep, where they call that "Hairy Sack" dude...and well if you've seen it you know the pay off :-)

Remember when they were trying to grow some seeds by leaving them on the ground, and Daria wandered by and informed them that they really needed to bury the seeds if they wanted them to grow. So B & B dig a hole, put the seeds in, and then stand around watching the pile of dirt waiting for the plant to emerge ....

Oh, but you forget the best part-- they fed the plant a soda from the burger place, as well as a burger and fries. Then, after waiting some more for the stupid plant to grow some nachos, Beavis "fertilizes" it. Huh-huh, huh-huh, I said "fertilize." <g>

<chuckle> Oh yes, I did forget that ... thanks, I needed a good laugh. B & B's idiocy was alas, too deep for even Daria to make much of an impression on. You've got to give her credit for trying ...

Hi there Minicat.... You seem very perky and "leap abouty", today, but you seemed quite bouncy yesterday, so i guess its a steady feature of your personality rather than a mood for you.

The name of that group is "Splendora" BTW

Yes, but it's damn near impossible to find. I tried to special order it from the local hole-in-the-wall "we can get anything and it's even better if it's obscure" record store, and after about a month they called me to say they looked all over for it but sadly it's no longer in production. :-( The best you can do is to keep looking through the used CD racks, I guess. None of the major online stores have it either, BTW, and if someone knows where I can find it I would be most obliged.

[the Splendora album that *doesn't* contains "Standing on My Neck"]

Well, a search on CDP today listed Splendora's "In the Grass," discounted to UKP9.00, but they say, "This is not a stock item. Whilst it has been possible to supply in the past, it may no longer be readily available." Order it and see what happens, perhaps? Could be that there are still copies lying around in some UK importer's warehouse.

You could try the link below to jump directly to to the entry in the catalogue, but if it fails, just click the link in my sig and search.

An update:

After much searching today, I managed to find what may or may not be an official Splendora site. It does, however, have a 1-800 number you can call and order the CD direct from Koch Mail Order (Koch being the company who puts it out). I'll prob'ly be calling tomorrow, if I have my voice back that is... curse this cold...

Not at all. Lots of people like things that don't fit in with their outwards personalities.

Ok let me get this straight:If you ever met me in person, then

Annoying? No, I can't believe that. So which (if either) is the 'real' you? Why are you QUIET (that's a pretty loud quiet, by the way) at first? Why do you change once someone gets to [know] you?

Is anyone else like that??

Probably.

Sorry if I ask tooooo many

Curiousity is good. Conforming to the will of the majority is also good. Bow down to us! Forsake they foul habits and obey the consensus!

I dunno WHAT I would do without

Why is that? Are you Darianesque in some way, or do you relate to some other character better?
