Oh yeah, and one thing I forgot on that last post. When Jake met Trent, is it possible that he associated him with "Knuckles"? (See "See Jane Run")

Anyway, most people probably wouldn't be that threatened by Trent alone, but most people aren't all that like Jake either. I'm not saying that Jake thought that Trent *was* Knucles but of all the people in the world he is certainly one of the most likely candidates to jump to that conclusion. This is Jake we're talking about, he is more likely to react irrationally than most people(even though anyone could be irrational), Helen's presence more than anything keeps him in check(he isn't half as bad when she's around). 'Stickboy' probably better describes Trent, though.

I thought the same thing but Jake didn't seem too paranoid about 'Knuckles' or enough time has passed that he's calmed down(maybe not:)
