halloween costumes

I was Sailor Moon. I made the costume myself. I was going to be Daria but I couldn't find a good jacket or skirt. One of my sisters friends went as Daria and it was pretty cool. She had the shirt, jacket, skirt, boots, glasses and everything. Anybody else go as Daria?

I did. I didn't actually *go* anywhere, just sat around the house in my Daria costume (pretty authentic, except instead of regular glasses I had big, round sunglasses - I have 20/20 vision and I didn't feel like poking the frames out ,because there were no screws and they were damn cool sunglasses anyways... long digression, eh?) feeling jaded. Not too much different than any other day. We didn't have school Thursday or Friday due to some teacher inservice thing, so nobody went to school in costume... and official trick or treating was on the 25th here (you try explaining that to me. Just try). So we had a pretty boring Halloween.

Hah! Consider yourself lucky! In England you have to wear school uniform (as I mentioned in a previous post) and our school skirts are JUST LIKE DARIA'S! Thankfully, we do have some female students who are forbidden by their religion to wear a skirt so the girls are allowed to wear trousers instead which is what I do. Most girls wear skirts and sort of roll them up so they're real short, which looks stupid, but not as much as the original length does. They're the type that make your behind look much bigger than it actually is.

i went as daria. everyone in my group was someone. (quinn, jane, the economics teacher, brittany, the goth girl) i was the only one who looked exact except my friend who was quinn, minus the boobs. ta-ta sosha
