Cassandra from Beavis and Butthead got her own show? I think she would be an interesting character to explore, with her dead honors teacher mom, and deep admiration for K.D. Lang.

Humm... Dr. Shah from Too Cute sounds a _lot_ like L&T. I think there are a few other examples too. Also, on IRC someone speculated that Tracy could be the voice of Aunt Amy, and I think he might be right... some of the speech patterns are really close to Tracy-as-Daria. This of course conflicts with Outpost Daria though.

Therefore the story might go that a Daria staffer might have seen Rita in a play and went 'darn. she sounds a _lot_ like Daria!' and passed that onto somebody who thought that she would make a good person to play a relative of Daria's...
