I noticed in my Sunday paper today that some literary group or other has made a list of the "100 best novels of the 20th Century," in response to the AFI's 100 best films of the century. They only listed the top 10 or 15, but I noticed that Our Heroine has read a few of them... "Sons and Lovers" (No apostrophe... ANYwhere), "Catch 22," and some others I can't remember right now caught my eye.
If you're interested, "Ulysses" was #1.
