I have started a trend of people who are writing messages to mtv, or even just posting messages on theboead, demanding that mtv give us details on the people who are behind trents music.. Speaking of which, do you have "The Daria Diaries" by Anne D. Bernstein? Among its many delights are original lyric sheets in Trent's own hand (with scrawled comments by Jesse), the cover art for Mystik Spiral's single on the Plush Records label ("Behind My Eyelids" b/w "Icebox Woman"), and a couple of less-than-glowing reviews...not to mention a flyer for Alternapalooza, a map of Lawndale, minutes of a Fashion Club meeting, the contents of the Charles Ruttheimer III homepage...
...not to mention Daria & Jane's all-time favorite episodes of "Sick Sad World," Daria & Jane present the baby-sitter's guide to new endings for classic bedtime stories, the love letters of Kevin & Brittany...
I got my copy the old-fashioned way...buying it at a bookstore in the mall!
Yeah, well, if I'd already had a copy of the book, I could have looked at the double-page map of The Mall Of The Millennium to find "Books by the Ton" -- it's on level four, right next to "Patty's Plus-Size Palace" -- but of course, if I'd already had the book to help me find the bookstore, I wouldn't have needed to find the bookstore.
While you're trying to unsnarl that sentence, here's another brain-teaser I just made up:
Standing next to a road that splits into two paths, you meet Kevin and Brittany. One of them always tells the truth, and the other always lies, but you don't know which one is which. One path leads to Cashman's department store, and the other path leads to eternal damnation, but again you don't know which one is which. You can only ask one question of either Kevin OR Brittany. What single question should you ask to find the correct path?

I'll choose "c) Don't bother; they're both morons" because that much is obvious, and because I might like Cashman's if I got there. But if you're channelling Daria or Jane, then I change the answer to "d."
