I read an article, in Wench I think, that mentioned that some of Daria's writers also write for NewsRadio. It must be frustrating for them to write for 2 hilarious but underappreciated and under-promoted shows. It just goes to show that quality means nothing in the world of entertainment.

As for quality in entertainment, well, the quality of entertainment is a reflection of the audience, IMHAHO. (There are some pinheads in the executive/marketing area that can kill off promising shows through their own ineptitude, but quality usually will out if there's an audience to support it.)
As for both shows, I just keep my fingers crossed, and hope that the pinheads stay away. BTW -- I noticed that the first season of NewsRadio has already gone into syndication, so it can't be doing too badly if they can sell the reruns.
