Is it just me, or is "Pierce Me" just another fan fictoin? Although it had its moments, It just didn't seem real. I mean, it made me think. I can't quite see Daria getting her naval pierced, even if someone she loves thought it would look hot. What made me think was that if Trent been at Dr. Shars in "Too Cute" and said Daria would look hot with breast implants or something like that, would Daria get the plastic surgery just becouse Trent said so? I hope not. I know this whole rant sounds silly because shes a cartoon charecter who is not even REAL, but I always think of fictional carachters as having lives of their own (And no, I am not some psyco thinking they are literaly real, I just mean- Well you know what I mean) Plus, compared to the far supierior "Road Warrior" this episode seems like just another piece of fanfic. "Road Worrier" showed Daria more personaly, more in depth. The funniest part was when Daria had to pee, and everyone has a loud conversation about it. I liked it cuz you could sympathise with her. I mean we've all been in situatins like that where nothing seems to go right. Plus, although at first everything seems to go wrong, it had a good ending where Daria gets to ride up front with Trent. Anyway, maby if Ann D. Bernstien(who wrote Road Worriers) had written "Pierce Me" it might have saved it by not becoming another fanfic.
