Anyone notice that whenever Daria makes a big leap in her personality, or shows that she is not as alienated as before (like in "The Misery Chick" and in the episode where she writes how she hopes everyone will be) the show takes a long, unwanted hiatus?
Just a thought.

I think it's the other way around...the writers decide to save these episodes for season/half-season finales because they're the most dramatic and denote changes that we can expect in future seasons...
