I was watching "Write Where It Hurts" again on the marathon, and I've got a quick question...
What the HECK was the end credits song, "Fish Cakes," supposed to be about? They've been pretty good about relating the end song to the episode, and this one seems to be a non-sequitur to me. Am I missing some profound truth here, or had the people in charge of music for Daria just gotten into some bad acid?

I can tell you this... The song (?) is from Bauhaus its some strange b-side they created in the studio one day what you hear is Peter Murphy improvising to the music. Eveyrone in the band was left in the studio to improvise whatever they wanted without the others knowing the song has no real title its just known as 1. david J 2.Peter murphy 3. kevin haskins 4. daniel ash
