Maybe Daria has an astigmatism and is forced to wear hard contact lenses which, if they had been available, would have been used as torture devices by the Spanish Inquisition. I know. I tried wearing hard contacts, but after 3 months I couldn't stand them anymore. I could always feel them in my eye. Besides, remember how her eyes always started to well up and get irritated when she wore contacts? Better to drive with blurry peripheral vision than to drive squinting down the highway with puffy eyes.

i'm astigmatic... i have the soft lenses. (my astigmatism is *awkward* and all... it's at funny angles.) the soft ones are ok... i forget to put them in half the time.. lol... walk out of the house and then realise everything is blurry.
