No spoilers, although the answer might be one.
In this eps Sick Sad World, the announcer goes through his spiel, then there are three words by different folks (presumably on the show ... I think one of them is "golf."), then Daria says "Sarcasm."
What exactly is being said here, and what exactly is the joke? I backed the tape up four or five times and still didn't get it, and I *always* get jokes, dammit.

The joke is Daria's family is rarely around the house, like phantoms, they're seen, but quickly they're gone on their various pursuits.

I was confused because I wasn't clear that the voices weren't coming from the TV.
Um, that is, the voices were coming from the TV, OF COURSE I knew that, but there was this TV ON the TV, and I thought that that ....
