Is it me or is Jane a more interesting charicter than Daria?
Jane is always putting her creative energies into SOMTHING. Daria is never seen putting energy into anything whatsoever. Don't get me wrong. I love Daria, but Jane is a far superior charicter. Although you've gotta hand it to Daria, she has devolped more since her days on Beavis and Butthead.
Jane is great, but she is a little predictable. Of course, i would never say it too her face, as long as she had that glue gun

I wouldn't say moreinteresting then Daria, but deffinitly more real. Jane is an outcast by chance, like most of the outcasts I've met, rather then by choice like Daria. Somewhere deep down in her, she seems to want to be popular.
Daria writes. It's just more boring to watch someone writing then someone painting.
Jane is more up front, so her character has been out on the surface since practacally the first episode. Daria, on the other hand, is more introverted and her character started showing through later in the series.

Basically, I am writing a new Daria fan fic story, and since I'm new to this particular fandom, I need beta readers. I've finished the first act, but am afraid to continue without knowing if I'm using the characters right. I've only seen seven episodes, so I'm not 100% sure of everything involving Lawndale and its citizens. And I'm very anul when it comes to accuracy in my writing.
