Daria on Wednesday?

My TV Guide has "Daria" listed for Wednesday at 10 pm EST on MTV. It even has a one-sentence plot description (for "I Don't"). Does this mean a new timeslot for the new episodes?

Besides, as I tape Daria for my animation morgue (and for later enjoyment, because MTV has a nasty habit of cancelling good toons-- e.g. The Maxx-- without any notice), I'll just have to wait until the next 10 SP DVDs come out. *sigh* Why can't they put all of the Daria eps on DVD??? That's more worth preserving than some of the junk out there on DVD these days, anyway.

I think we still watch SP because we all get together to catch it... although we usually wind up talking over it. I guess it's more of the social aspect of getting together to watch SP that I enjoy, more so than the actual cartoon itself. (Which is really starting to get bad, IMHO.)

It's kind of like playing golf so you can run around in that silly electric cart and drink beer while chasing a silly white ball with a silly-looking stick. Golf is a very silly game-- I only play it to socialize with my friends, without having to go camping with them.

The good news is that Babylon 5 isn't going to be on opposite both! However, those of us who still get guilty snickers out of South Park only have to remember that South Park airs at 10 PM and *again* at 1 AM, so one VCR can tape both! Ray

your in a better sitution then me, DS9 comes on at 11:30 on saturday night. (sometimes midnight if they showed a game earlier and are dragging behind because of overtime).

I'm surprised they haven't pre-empted to show the Video Music Awards for the 27th time...oh wait...they do that all the time. Promote it for a month in advance, do some stupid pre-show, post-show thing, then show it forever until the next VMAs air.(dido for Movie Awards too.)

I think this is MTV thinking that if they do change the time reapeatly they won't kill her, or if they do kill Daria they'll only lose a critical aclaimed show with a loyal fan base to do another season of Celebrity Deathmatch or Real World:7 years ago :o)

Anyway, Daria will live forever(cause you know when MTV cancels it for the nest show in the line of MTV shows with no substance, Cartoon Network will pick it up). { Lets see how we can show more videos but for a purpose, I got, lets put the lyrics on while the articst is talking about the video while we see how it fits into a cliches and we'll let Jesse VJ so noone can understand him}
