Anyways, I just came down from watching my recording of the latest "Daria" ep (no TV in the computer room, so I set the VCR for this)...I watch everything and enjoy as I normally would. I get to the closing credits and recognize the music therein as being very familiar...on my three hours' sleep (insomnia while being exhausted...oh, the irony) I realized that what I was listening to was a cover of either an Elvis Costello or Clash song. Now, I'm feeling absolutely lazy at this point so I was wondering if anyone knew who the original artist was, what the name of the song was (I'm guessing "Supermarket"...heh), and who covered it. It's very rare that I would recognize a song from the closing credits that I have enjoyed in the past or enjoy now, so this came as a maximum big surprise. And if it *is* a Clash cover, I might even end up having it somewhere in my music collection.
