I noticed this afternoon that MVT started airing the old Daria episodes, starting with #101 "Esteemsters." Got it on tape--at last. No broadcasting defects that I've noticed. All you Daria fans who've been hoping to complete your tape collections, now's your chance.

Yeah, they even aired an unscheduled ep of Daria, or at least Paperpusher missed it. It was only "Depth Takes a Holiday," but still, I am happy to see that Daria is not the only show that get's randomly cut from the list to allow an episode of another show to air. :)

That's one of the many advantages of the DSS dish. I have a "scout" set to search for the keyword "Daria" in the onscreen schedule (a feature of the more recent receiver models). It searches up to 60 hours head for that character string in the schedule while the receiver is turned "off" and provides me with a list of each occurrence of in the schedule. The only problem is when last- minute changes in the schedule render the onscreen guide obsolete. I cross check with MTV's web site but even that is wrong on occasion. Being a Daria fan isn't as easy as it looks.
