Yesterday evening, we had a little "shakedown cruise" for the new Thursday Night #DariaFan chats on Talk City. It turned out GREAT!!! If you've ever been frustrated by technical issues on IRC networks, Talk City is a great change of pace. No network, so no netsplits. Hardly any lag...pings were coming back at 2 seconds OR LESS, and most of the participants were on the East Coast. Talk City's servers are in Northern CA, very near MAE-West.
But let us not forget, the #Daria+ chats on DALnet are fun too. There's one happening tonight, starting at 6pm pacific time! Network: DALnet Port: 6667 Channel: #Daria+ Time: 6pm pacific, 9pm eastern to 9pm pacific, Midnight eastern.
