OMG I am literally DYING to see the new Daria episode(The Musical) RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but nooo, i have to wait till WEDNESDAY.

Ever since seeing the video clip on the MTV site I haven't been able to get that stupid little song out of my head. Sadly I'm probably going to have to wait months to see the episode!

(Incidentally I did finally get the realvideo clip thingy to run properly, I told the videoplayer I was using a 28.8K modem instead of 56K and it worked after that. I guess the server was being over-optimistic about how fast 56K modems really are! Sadly this switch meant the picture quality went down from acceptable to atrocious, but at least it didn't freeze anymore.)

Because we tend to view fractions as part of the whole number instead of as a subset version with its own number range, at least when we're talking in scientific tones. Like, if one wanted to one could refer to $5.30 as 5.3 dollars (and it'd be correct). But the impression I get is that Brits'd probably refer to that number as 5 dollars 30 (as in 5 dollars 30 cents). That's the normal way Americans view that, but not the scientific way.
