Is Daria lesbian and doesn't even know it?

This reminds me of something a friend of mine suggested *way* back on the original Planet Daria message board. In "Too Cute", Jane has the line (IIRC) "Come on Daria, don't be shy. Show me your boobs!" (relating to the fake boobs Dr Shar gave her, of course). Could this hint at Jane being bisexual?

I just want to know why so many people seize on that one line from Jane and overlook her followup comment upon seeing the practice boobs: "Hmm. Why isn't this as exciting as I thought it would be?"

I also suspect that Mack is gay ... he certainly doesn't seem to keep Jody around for more than cosmetic/social reasons.
