Anyway, I'm starting to think that maybe Daria might get a token vote by the academy in it's final year. It happened to Star Trek: TNG.

Which one was Show 11? Was that where they went to New Jersey?

I'll be happy if Downtown or Powerpuff Girls wins. But I suspect it might be The Simpsons or Family guy.

When are the Emmys anyway?

I think it was the one with the incriminating photos of Chaka.

Agreed. It was one of the best animated shows MTV put out in years. I really, really dug it. In fact, I thought it had more widespread appeal than Daria, due to the fact that the episodes rotated character focus more and the plots were much less centralized. I'm very sad that I can't see it anymore...I didn't see any episodes after the one which was the sort of takeoff on Texas Chainsaw Massacre (where Alex and Jen and Chaka and whashername were headed somewhere and the car broke down). I mean, damn, I don't even know what the hell wound up going on with Alex and Serena after the comic convention episode...

Damn, I really miss that show.

What was Downtown's 11th episode about, anyway?

Hopefully the final year won't be for awhile. But when it does come, I'm expecting many a good episode in its closing.
