Speaking of Dragonball, I was spoiled enough to be diappointed by the series. I saw a tape of the pilot episode, "Curse of the Blood Rubies," which I though was absolutely incredible. Then I watched an episode of the series. The bad guys were wusses. The big flabby emperor was replaced by that tiny little guy. The bad chick was replaced by that little girl in the trenchcoat, and the huge, but, ahem, "intellectually challenged" general was replaced by... a cute fuzzy bear?
