About order of episodes.

In the Daria universe, (not air order or production order) in what order do "Daria!", "Depth takes a Holiday", and "Lane Miserables" occur? B (not your average AOheLLer) (and proud of it)

Hmm... well, now, that's an interesting question ya got there, because the only indication we have that's good enough is production order, because the air order was modified about a month before season 3 started to air. I know you said "not based on production order," but, frankly, I haven't seen any internal clues that'd give any indication contrary to production order, so DTAH, then D!, then LM. (Of course, since DTAH and D! are arguably "fantasy" episodes that some say "really didn't happen" [ironic for a cartoon series], then the question is moot.)

Well with D! it's a possibility there was actually a hurricane, just not singing people in it. Further suspension of disbelief. DTAH could arguably all be a dream and therefore irrelevant in the timeline.

I think the explanation that Dagny was going for was that the fact that it was a dream was implied and not hit over our heads like a not-so-subtle two by four. I would have to agree that the only way that episode could possibly make sense in the real world is if it were a dream. (to myself) "It's just a cartoon, Mike. It's just a cartoon."

Well, the reason I've been asking, is, in the fanfic pair I'm doing now, (one's already done) Daria references D! and DTAH as dreams, but I set them before Lane Miserables. B (not your average AOheLLer) (and proud of it)
