Well, this sucks. The *real* MsGeek says that IICY won't air until December or January! Gahh... 6+ months...
Still, it keeps the Daria fan community alive that much longer, and it will be more anticipated. So that's good too. Hmmm... still, it's going to be a long wait...
(And whoever posted info about it to IMDb may have to change the release date to 2002... sighhhh)
This may mean Daria will be a graduate of 2002 as well. I always assumed she'd be an '01-er. Maybe still, but who knows.

I honestly hope not. I can wait the six months (being a fan of this show requires patience) but I really hope I don't have to wait until winter to see it.
It better be a two hour movie, is all I have to say.

Do you know when production started, by the by, Martin? I assume that this as well will be written by Glenn Eichler and Peggy Nicoll. But couldn't the 2 best writers of the show (or of the best) come up with a better title than Is It College Yet? I have a hunch it's a working title; though my hunch will probably be disproven soon enough :-P.
Also, it seems Boxing Daria was written to provide closure to the series in case MTV provided no future offers for "Daria" production. In any case, this long wait we have makes it seem as if it's from a different production run. Wait...wasn't it? Gahhh. Blah, blah, blah and whatnot. I just keep going and going and going.
Anyway, what all does the Toon magazine article cover? I'd like to buy it, but it seems the only place to get it is over the internet, and I hate doing that unless I really want something...anyone?

The message left last November by a supposed MTV staffer on the Daria Shrine message board, which was accurate in announcing that Daria would end with the 5th season followed by another made-for-TV movie, also said that the movie was "slated for production next July." Take it for what it's worth, but that, coupled with what you've heard, suggests that IICY will come out somewhat later than what most people were figuring, or hoping.
