For the record: According to the latest monthly Cable Guide, MTV: UK will be having a Daria 'marathon'.

Still some way off, but we'll see what happens... No other Daria sightings in the listings; Cable Guide doesn't list terrestrial channels.

Well they've shown S1,2 & 3 at least twice so I'm keeping my fingers crossed, the girl who announces it did say that it would be on.
I've not seen it but it sounds sad :)

You might want to see about getting a limited channel package, instead of paying for channels you won't watch. We're on Telewest's Millenium Max, which is a core set of 11 channels, plus MTV, Nickleodeon/Paramount, Sci-Fi, and a few others. Cable TV is our only vice, seeing as my brother and I don't smoke or drink. Also, Cable is the only way we can get C5.
When PPG first aired on Cartoon Network, a lot of people were put off by the title. If you like retro/anime/pop-culture Superhero parodies then PPG could be your bag.
But criticise it when you've seen it, and not before. Book covers, and judging, and so on. ;)

Yeah I believe for the Basic NTL package we get 10 channels, the 5 terrestrial ones, plus 5 of theirs, I believe you can pay individually to have extra channels added tho.
I get Channel 5 reasonably ok, a little ghosting but that's it, It's channel 4 that is realy flakey for me, watchable but still not as good as it should be.
Ok so it may be ok, people round here cirtainly seem to like it.
I wasn't critisising the show, just pointing out that to me the title sounded sad :) I'll try it and see.

As far as PPG, I won't go out of my way to watch it, but when I do catch it, I usually enjoy it very much.

They could continue s3 to the end (as someone else has reported, Through a Lens Darkly is being shown on Saturday), and start s4 on or after 7th October. Or they might just fill in with some s3 eps until the s4 tapes arrive.
Well, woohoo and Gah! Woohoo, I'm pleased more people will get to see PPG, but, Gah! getting Cartoon Network in order to see PPG was the main reason for paying GBP7 a month for On Digital! And I'm signed up for 12 months minimum!
I was urged to see it by fellow Daria fans from here and from #Daria+, whose judgment I trust (at least on animation matters!), and I like it a lot! The premise is AFAIK utterly original, the writing first rate, and the voice work and animation are excellent. Oh, and it's funny.
Now if only I could get hold of a talking Mojo Jojo... [1]
