Daria loses? [USA Weekend Poll]

WTF happened? When the polls closed, it seemed that Daria was comfortably ahead, but now the ladder is showing R&B as the winner with 62% of the votes. (http://www.usaweekend.com/celebs/)

I demand a recount!

I'm not so sure. It depends a little on your meaning. If you're saying that Daria would agree with me that "USA Weekend" is a worthless rag and wouldn't want any part of their silly poll, then I'd agree.

If you�re saying that Daria wouldn�t enjoy being honestly acclaimed as the most wonderful cartoon character on TV then I�d have to disagree. Daria�s a misfit, not a misanthrope. She needs love and attention just like all the rest of us. She isn�t going to get it from her high school classmates so she copes by exhibiting a cynical, emotionless facade. If Daria were presented with a genuine, honest testimonial--initially she�d be reticent and mistrustful--but ultimately she�d relish basking in the warmth of real affection, just like any of us would.

I think Daria would appreciate applause but she can accept not getting it.

There was a form at their website for letters to the editor and I sent a message through that, since I couldn't find any other way to send feedback about the site. The bracket is now correct, so I take full credit. :-)

I did the same. Although mine was a little more strongly worded than it should have been. Should've waited a few minutes to get the caffeine out of my system.
