a few reflections on J of H

I thought this one had alot of good one-liners, but still did as we feared and made Jake into a buffoon (Though I can't say I didn't laugh at him hugging the lawn gnome). As a follow up to Lane Miz (which is a tough act to follow) it wasn't above or below my expectations...but I wish they would give Jake a better role like they did more in season 2.

BTW, this is just bugging me. Jake thought the bats of death were coming for him, and Daria just explains it's the bats of bad t.v. Since when does she think Sick, Sad World is bad t.v.? Maybe she watches it for the same reasons she hung out with B&B...

I think that she know's it's stupid and moronic and she still likes it. Lots of people love cheesy movies.. i think that Sick Sad World has the freak show hook.. you don't really want to watch, but you want to see how screwed up these people are. --- ~Po

The "real" version of "Sick Sad World" is "Hard Copy." HC has ceased to do the gossip column type stories and instead have gone over to the freakshow angle. Lots of Stupid Human Tricks. Lots of "Weekly World News" type stuff. Not half bad.

It was "Hard Copy". "Inside Edition" can still be seen here locally at 10:35 p.m. on our ABC affiliate, just before "Nightline". And after "Nightline" is a rerun of "Entertainment Tonight", then it's "Jenny Jones", then "The Roseanne Show", then "Politically Incorrect", then "The View". LOL, way too much information I know but I'm experienced at things like this.
