I must say, after seeing the entire season before it, Malled wasn't terribly impressive. The characters seemed so... flat.
In the invitation, did the two guys that approached Daria and Jane look familiar ("those guys are lookin' at us")? I thought they looked a bit like some of the guys in "Gifted". Anybody have any comments on this?
I had a hunch on Staci's intelligence, but as I watched various eps over the last few weeks, I begain to have doubts. Then I saw... shoot, I can't remember which ep it was. At any rate, she said something that seemed to go completely over the heads of the other fashion club members.
A while ago, I posted something attempting to show the hidden worth to the various fasion club members. I couldn't find any value to Sandi. Today, while watching The Invitation, I noticed Sandy dancing. She seemed to be enjoying herself, dancing an akward style one might see on "Scooby Doo", that seemed to say, "I don't give a damn, I'm enjoying myself." Most of the others that I could see were just bobbing.
Just a few rambling comments to close out season two. I got to watch the marathon up to 3:00, then I had to go to work. Other Family Members wanted the cable from 6:00 onward, so I didn't get the rest on tape. Bummer. I so rarely have time to watch Daria.
