the Daria collection

Even though it seems like a lot of trouble, I wish that the artists would give Daria, Jane, and Quinn (definitely Quinn) different clothes. They do such a great job though that I don't want to complain. It would still be cool though.

No, you see, you're forgetting that as one of the many commandments of the cartoon world, (number 3, i think) "thou shalt not changeith thy garments as to conserveith thy producers wealth and as to swiftly comeith out with new episodes."

this is a very important law and few heathans dare to break it, as they would surely feel the rath of the three cartoon gods, Fritz Freeling, Tex Avery, and Mel Blanc. Anyway, Daria, Jane, and Quinn have all appeared in different clothing at least once. (Quinn the most.) And if you're still not satisfied with that, there are those alter egos at the end of the show.

Tex Avery, now HE was a genius. I never much cared for Droopy the Dog, though.

Now, really, who EVER liked Droopy the Dog? He was an asshole. He would torment that, stupid, undeserving wolf cartoon after cartoon. I wanna cry, it's so pitiful. The same with Tom and Jerry, just once I would like to see Tom sit down to a nice meal of Red Wine and friend Jerry. I guess you could call it the "Itchy and Scratchy Syndrome", an undying desire to see the guy who should win, actually win. Bart and Lisa Simpson felt the same way in that one episode. I'm sure many of you feel the same way. But I apologize for switching the newsgroup to such an un-Daria like state of cartoon awareness. Just wanna stake my place in the Peking order for this newsgroup. Hopefully higher than the die-hard South Park fans.

As long as your body does not rely on basic chemical reactions for movement and thought, you will be higher in every sense than a die-hard South Park fan. ANY die-hard South Park fan. ~po

     Upchuck (as a minstrel), and Mr. DeMartino (as The Black
     Knight).

  *  And of course, *everyone* was in battle fatigues in "The
     Daria Hunter".  Never mind that Daria and Jane magically
     changed into their regular clothes almost instantaneously.

So, it's not as monotonous as one might think. Of course, we won't ever see them switch outfits just for the hell of it, but at least they don't do *everything* in their Official Cartoon Clothing.

I think they did a fine job of putting them in different clothes! After all, they do suit their character.
