Okay, first, the good news-- I almost have my machine up and running, so that I can keep my lil' site updated for y'all again. (Yay!) Turns out it was a bad mobo. I'm still in the middle of fixing it while doing other things as well. (Like working.) So, I should have an update up sometime tonight.
Now the Bad News. After perusing my usual scheduling sources, it appears as though the Daily Dose has disappeared from my 2-week radar. It has not, I repeat, NOT disappeared from the 4-week radar, so it may just be a break while MTV runs some lame promo weeks. (Like "WWF week.") The Weekend Reruns have also vanished completely from the radar as well. No, I don't know why. It just has. Here's the short schedule for the next 14 days: (all times EDT/PDT)
Wed., 8/11/99 7:30 "The Lawndale File" 10:00 "Just Add Water"
Wed. 8/18/99 9:30 "Just Add Water" 10:00 "Jane's Addiction"

That's it. Everything.
CAVEAT: Remember, this IS MTV we're talking about, so their 2-week schedule is subject to complete, total, and utter change WITHOUT WARNING. I'll try to keep on top of this as best I can.
(You know, when I facetiously agreed to take over the schedule after PD went down last Fall, I had no idea it could become such a Royal Pain In The Ass. Thankfully, everyone tells me that I provide a valuable service, so I at least get a warm, fuzzy feeling from that, if nothing else. This also teaches me an Important Lesson-- don't ever praise MTV's Scheduling Dept. for doing anything that looks remotely intelligent-- it's not only a jinx, but it's also like praising a cow for crapping on your number in a game of cow-pattie bingo-- given an infinite number of chances, something will go your way, simply by random chance. It's got nothing to do with intelligence.)
