That's why soc.religion.paganism was invented, so people could have sensible discussions away from the deluge of crap in alt.religion.wicca and alt.pagan. (In fact I've never even bothered visiting those groups.)

I wonder if Daria would be a pagan. I would imagine she's an atheist. (Though there is a school of thought that says atheists can be pagans.) Sandi & co. are definitely satanists, or perhaps just pawns of the devil. Those deep voices show that they are possessed by dark forces. That would make Quinn the representative of the forces of righteousness, like Joan of Arc. This puts a whole new spin on the conflict in The Daria Hunter between Quinn and Sandi. Quinn definitely showed strength of character in that episode, even if it was just a battle for supremacy over some lame fashion club. I loved her confrontations with Sandi. Quinn is actually quite cool when viewed in the context of her limited world.

Or maybe Sandi & co. are undead, vampires. Then Quinn could be Buffy and drive stakes through their hearts.

Its a nice ide Shez. but I think that LDH has already one pagen (looking in "Daria database" proble 2). Thow I think ther in to same more "action" from Andrea sins they told a lot in "Daria's database" without saying much. The 3 funny's by her do tel a lot.

And that puts Stacy where? I tend to see it like this: Sandi is overly ambitious and insecure, and feels the need to dominate the fashion club. She's also perhaps the least intelligent of the group, so, to the avarage Daria fan, she seems to always get the short straw when conflict with Quinn arises. Quinn is smarter, but no less viscious, though she is a lot nicer to people in general than Sandi, which tends to have us rooting for her in the conflict. Tiffany is constantly trying to use the conflict to advance her own position, and is the least secure of the group. Stacy, on the other hand, is simply trying to contribute to the conflict as little as possible, and even smooth it over whenever possible.

Bah, I think her confrontations with Sandi are nothing more than a display of their respective ambitions, though it is what maintains the status-quo. If they ever actually allied, strongly, all hell would probably break loose.
