Yeah but isn't that also true of Trent....Personally I like "The New Kid" for precisely this reason Daria, is mooning over someone other than Trent. Actually I think the fans seem to blow the Trent-Daria thing out of all proportion oh well. (In case anyone was wondering I do like Trent as a characterjust tend to think that he and Daria hooking up would not be a god thing for the show).

Maybe it's we feel jealous on his behalf when she eyes up other people, it's like Richard and Caroline in Caroline in the City, you can sense their destiny or at least what ought to happen, and it feels kind of tragic when their rightful destiny is diverted or deferred because of some interloper. BTW I can't make out the start of the song title that Trent tells her, it's "<something> Little Self-deluded Girl, Why Would a Cool Guy Like Me Ever Write a Song About You?" but I can't decide what the <something> is, it sounds like "Sue, you ..." which would be odd as Daria's name isn't Sue. I wish I hadn't missed this episode, is there any news on the Daria Warehouse realvideos coming back online?
