...Justin Timberlake's little accident on MTV's Super Bowl special?
Wasn't there some dialogue about "accidentally on purpose" in one of the shows?

No, no, no; what an accusation! Are you suggesting that Ms what's-her-name doesn't *normally* wear a pasted-on silver star underneath her brassiere? That it was part of her costume, and therefore must have been expected to be seen? Are you suggesting that the article removed by mtv.com's own Winston Smith, promising something "shocking," was referring to that? That the costume and choreography made references to _A Clockwork Orange_? That there was a ripping-the-dress-to-expose-a-breast shot in the rape scene in _ACO_, and that, even if that's true, it's anything more than a coincidence? Shame on you. It's quite clear from Mr Timberhead's statement that this was no more than one of those little accidents and chains of coincidences that could happen to any of us, any time, especially when we're off guard, not concentrating hard, just fooling around to pass the time (and show off a bit) in the interval of a local sports game.
Martin.

Oooh, I didn't know about the silver star!
<daria>Hey, maybe the Fashion Club will pick up on this. The teachers ought to love it. If a girl does well on her tests, she gets to wear a silver star. If she does really well, she gets a gold star. And if she does really, REALLY well... TWO gold stars.</daria>

She'd probably comment on the absurdity of no one giving a rat's ass about all the violence being discussed (and shown) on such upstanding shows as the evening news, but give 'em a split-second flash of a woman's breast and suddenly everyone flies into a self-righteous, moralistic tizzy.

I agree that would be her take on the incident, since she has never demonstrated an affinity for a Victorian / Puritanical worldview. She's something of a moral relativist - note her semi-endorsement of hedonism in "Groped By An Angel".
It's too bad that MTV doesn't stand a snowball's chance in the Hades of getting another Super Bowl halftime slot. I could recommend a female entertainer who is bright and funny, appeals to viewers of all ages, and has even been known to sing. She can be trusted on-camera to remove nothing more provocative than her glasses. And if that's not enough, they've already got her signed!

Of course, she wouldn't be done until confusing the hell out of the football players ;).
