Splendoria

Since they did the Daria theme and the movie theme was great-will they have CD's out soon? Who the hell is splendoria anyway?

The music for the movie (which I still havent seen cause my fraternity's cable is out) was probably an extra track from the original sessions when they recorded the show's theme.

Wasn't there a rumor that the members of Splendora all work on the Daria staff somewhere (which is how they got the gig for the theme)

I don't know, it seemed like it was made for the movie, it's not like they would have been lucky enough to have a track from the original session that would go with that opening sequence so well - it kind of works nack to the "Splendora is on the Daria staff" idea, if they do they could have just gone recorded it for the movie.

If this site is to be believed, Splendora is (was?) a real group. There is a section for live Splendora gigs, but the latest dates are from 1997. Tracy Grandstaff is not listed as a member of the group.
