Production numbers and Cafe Disaffecto/College Bored

I was wondering if anyone could provide insight for this, but why is it that evry Tv scheduling service I've found on the net show production numbers for Cafe Disaffecto as 103 and for College Bored, 104, while Daria sites lead one to believe otherwise? Furthermore, why does College Bored feature the more recent recording of the theme song while the next episode, Cafe Disaffecto goes back to the original for one more episode? Can *anyone* here clear this up? It's confusing my little head.
