If you had to pick only 9 episodes?

I recently faced the daunting task of picking Daria episodes to send to a friend. Arliza (Liz to friends, Arly to friends who want to piss her off) is a fellow anime fan in Malaysia who looks like Mulan and acts much like Daria. Yes, I'm in love, and it anoys her ^_^ Anyways, I had previously sent her the first two episodes from the comercial tape, and now that I had most of the two seasons recorded wanted to send her a 'best of' video. If I edited out the comercials, 7 would fit on a 160 minute tape (Liz's player can only play tapes in SP mode). I may send her more later, but shipping's expensive and the other tapes were full of much needed anime for her fetish.

Liz watched the tape three times in the first week, so I must have picked good ones ^_^ Still, it was hard leaving out other classics. What would you guys have picked?

Cafe Disaffecto Too Cute (Not one of my favorite episodes, but the Andrea cameo is priceless) Pinch Sitter (Just for the ending) Road Worrier (I wouldn't pick this one, but it'd be impossible to follow the later episodes without it) The Misery Chick Arts 'n' Crass Fair Enough Ill (Siouxsie and the Banshees get played!) Pierce Me

Tough choice, 9 episodes is restricting. I would have loved to put "The Teaching Of Don Jake" and "Write Where It Hurts" in there as well.

I can definitely relate to the "can't speak,[but] must speak" idea but i'd rather not talk about it here.

I would of probably made up the almost the same list, with ...Don Jake or Malled in place of Pierce Me. All in all, you seem to have picked the cream of the crop here(IMO, of course).
