. . . . . . . Hmmm. I thought MTV had decided to run their clip of the week after rather than before the episode, but the clip for Sappy Anniversary only stayed up for a day or so. Now there's a clip for "Fat Like Me"
The Fashion Club is meeting to discuss qualifications for new members. As the clip begins, they've voted unanimously to refuse admittance to anyone with "stubby fingers".
Sandi then asks recording secretary Stacy what the next topic is. She replies "allowable weight", then nervously adds "unless you'd like to go on to the next topic".
Sandi haughtily replies she'd rather do things in order. Then she suggests dropping three pounds from the current weight limit. Quinn replied that "that's a cute idea", but that it might make it difficult to actually find any new members.
Sandi replies than she seems to be only one concerned about the nationwide obesity problem that is "bursting at the seams". Stacy, almost crying, says "No! Not the seams!"
Sandi announces she's overruling everyone and the new weight limits are in effect.
So it seems (seams?) that Stacy is the one with the weight problem, if I read her reactions right.
I hope this plot isn't too thin :-)
