Has anyone sent letters to MTV?

I'm curious.In response to the news that they're thinking of not giving Daria a fifth season, I wonder if anyone has written MTV and given their opinion. I wrote my letter the day I received the news.

I too sent my three page letter over this past weekend urging for season five along with the save "Downtown" comments and even a comment or two about "Sifl and Olly." Just remember that when (not if) you write a letter, to be complementary of all of the shows on MTV not just the ones you're writing about. They're much more likely to read the entire letter if you commend them on a job well done first.

Maybe I should clarify. You don't have to actually believe that they are doing a good job to tell them that they are. I would tend to believe that people in positions of power at television networks (and their underlings) would be much more likely to take a letter seriously if it's polite and complementary than if it's rude and insulting.

Maybe what I should have said is that if you think MTV is doing a great job include that in your letter. If you think they suck, keep that little bit of info to yourself.
