Guys, am I the only one who's in love with Jane?

I don't know what it is exactly -- but, Jane Lane...wow. I've watched every episode and I especially look forward to seeing Jane. Yes, I look forward to seeing a female CARTOON character! I've never been this way, seriously, toward any animated character. Maybe it's her cool black hair, her contrasting blue eyes, pursed lips, that gravelly voice, slouched-shoulders "whatever" demeanor. A pal agreed: "You can easily imagine a real-life version of Jane Lane -- and you know she'd be really cute."

I hope this series runs long enough so that we'll be treated to a Jane-mostly episode.

Oh, I love the show for other, more intellectual reasons, too, BTW. :)

Okay, cool. (relief) I was worried that I was the ONLY one who felt this way and, thus, had like a problem.

How about the arrogant-football-guy in that episode who remarked that he'd only go for Jane after having a few hours of keggers (or something to that effect)? Not only was he an asshole, he had terrible taste in women, too.

On the other hand, what about the second episode where Daria is invited to Britany's party: Jane makes out with a guy in the laundry room, whom she says he said her head reminded her of a "lollipop"? :) For some reason, I really liked that.

So far, this season, we've had the eps. about Jane's entry in the school art contest. That's the closest to a Jane-centric episode, thus far, but I want more!

Somebody ought to put up a Jane Lane website shrine -- at least, it'd differentiate itself from all the other "Daria" show sites out there.

Not only doesn't he deserve Jane, he wouldn't know what to do with her if he got her. Being insulted by that guy was a compliment to Jane.

I agree. They could call the show "The Jane and Daria Show" and I'd be happy.

Nah. You have a healthy interest in a brilliant show that is somewhat out of the mainstream, despite the fact it's on MTV.
