I am going to suggest something that is going to seem very fannish, silly, and counter to the scepticism that Daria subscribes to, but which seems to come up in every fan group I've ever been part of:

Does anyone have any suggestions for a Daria Tarot deck?

For those unfamiliar, I have the following list of the traditional Major Arcana below, with a few suggestions I came up with for them for who would fit what. I'm not too happy with most of them, I fear, so anyone with better suggestions should feel free to squash this set like the broken dreams of my youth and ....sorry, I won't let that happen again...

0 Fool - Staci? Jake? Kevin? 1 Magician - Trent 2 High Priestess - 3 Empress - Helen 4 Emperor - Jake 5 Hierophant - 6 Lovers - Daria and Trent? Alternately, Kevin and Brittany? NO! <shiver> I came to this time period to get away from that! Well, actually, I came to this time period because of a malfunction in an experimental time machine that I was required to volunteer to test, which left my body in the 30th century and my mind in the 20th. But that not the issue. I'll let you know what the issue is when I remember it... Oh, yeah, tarot cards. You seem to have a bit better grasp of the symbolism than I do, probably because I really don't understand it too well myself. Your ideas definitely seem to work better.

But that doesn't mean I'll stop looking for help. Can anyone add anything to this?

She specifically pointed out that 'Strength' is usually interpreted *positively*, which Tommy Sherman wouldn't be (my fault, that one), and more to the point, is usually depicted as a *woman* holding open a lion's mouth. Perhaps someone who understands tha tarot better could give us advice (my Tara had no real interest in the project).
