Thanks to everybody who posted info about that title. I did not know about the Biblical reference, but it does not surprise me considering how many times it appears to have been used.
But the usage that probably had me wondering was more recent ... there was an episode of Millennium this season called "Through a Glass, Darkly". That's what was probably on the tip of my toungue.
