Well, I just checked TVGrid, and according to them, Daria will be moving from its 3PM spot to a 1PM spot starting 6.1.99. Naturally, this is due to change without notice-- I'll keep the site updated, don't you worry.
On another note, there was no mention on TVGrid of any new eps at all. What else is new?

Let me explain. 'Daria' isn't so much a hit as a cult show, and cult shows are problematic to broadcasters. It has a strong, vigorous following, which will do anything to keep it on the air, but not a large enough percentage to justify the air time. Worse, the characteristics which make it a cult hit (intelligence, sarcasm, vividness) are exactly the qualities that turn off the more general audiences. As far as the channel managers are concerned, shows like that (Daria, MST3K, ST:OS, Twilight Zone) are poison.
All we can do is what cult-show fans have always done: put the pressure on. Make it as hard as possible for them to kill the show. Write fanfic and pass it around. Get anyone and everyone to take a look at the show, in the hope that they like it. It's all we can do.

Perhaps they feel they might have more of an audience at 1 pm once school is out? Sleep in all morning, wake up, watch Daria to start the day, so to speak.... :)
