...Does anyone get the feeling that Noggin (and Viacom overall) couldn't care less about what we think at all about 'Daria'? From what I've read, e-mails are ignored, and no one has posted about the suits responding at all, save from reading an occasional post from MK-H on alt.tv.daria, via Eichler, and that's only when she contacts him about a legitimate question somebody asked.
What's the deal, I wonder? How can they blatantly ignore their core audience like that? Are they simply looking for a new audience ("young'uns")? Don't they realize that *we're* the ones who'd be willing to spend the bucks for Daria DVD's? Yeah, I know the *parents* of those young'uns have money as well, and they'd get pestered by those same young'uns to buy those ridiculous cut-up DVD's if Viacom ever wises up and makes them, but we'd be the ones willing to dig in our pockets, and *immediately* fork out the moolah. Idiots.
It makes me do a slow burn when they do that, the more I think about it. They should know better.
