Conspiracy ?

I don't quite remember exactly but i'm pretty sure "Jake Of Hearts" aired the week JFK jr.s plane crash. Seeing as i have nothing better to do and my curiousity and boredom have gotten the best of me, i was wondering if anyone noticed something ironic. In that episode in the beginning Daria and Jane were talking about puppets and how seeing puppets in a plane crash would be funny.... the same week of JFK's plane crash. Did the writers foretell the future or is it one big conspiracy ? Hmm...

Depends on how much of a conspiracy nut you are. Airplanes have been crashing for as long as there have been airplanes and, much as it pains me, despite our best efforts there are likely to continue to be airplane crashes. After "Jake of Hearts" was written there must have been several crashes before JFK, Jr. had his unfortunate crack-up. You just never heard about the others because most of them didn't involve anyone famous enough for the press to fawn over. If a conspiracy exists that would be it.

That's nothing. The Saturday after that plane went missing there was a rerun of the X-Files called "The Unusual Suspects". It was a flashback episode showing how three paranoid conspiaracy theorists (the Lone Gunmen) got together. It all started with this woman who knew about all these tests that the government does to unsuspecting people. She starts to name all the lies the public was told, starting with JFK in Dallas. These guys didn't believe in any conspiacies until then. What was even more incredible was that one of the guys in this episode was named John Fitzgerald Byers.
