Who do you think would be Daria's, Jane's, and the Fashion Clubbies' favorite cartoon shows, besides themselves, of course.
I see Jane as a fan of "Samurai Jack," because of the original style of the characters and backgrounds in that toon.
I see Daria liking classic Warner Brothers cartoons. In the case of the Roadrunner toons, she'd cheer for the coyote, knowing full well he'll never get the bird.
Sandi turns up her nose at cartoons. She thinks they're for kids.
Quinn, Stacy and Tiffany were all fans of Sailor Moon when they were younger.
Tiffany would probably go for the Powerpuff Girls.
I think she likes trash or movie parody, mostly both. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes Beetlejuice Futurama Beavis and Butthead (hey Dariahhh, that girl got you name and looks like you!)
I think she likes smart cartoons, with a hidden social criticism. The Maxx (yought culture: Hey, that Glenn Eichler is good:-) King of the Hill (texan culture: Hey, that Mike Judge is good:-) South Park (Anyone saw the genius pokemon spoof episode they made?) Stressed Eric (british culture) Bob and Margaret (very british culture, later canadian) The critic (Hmm, Daria's future?)
I think she secretly likes anime like "Ronin Warriors" :-):-):-)

Or modern disney ones: The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Gummi Bears... so long there is a princess in it.
As an obsessed best friend she would like all cartoons with cute "gangs" in it. Mupped Babies, the Smurfs, the Care Bares and of course Hamtaro!!!!!

Maybe, but I really see her liking '60s and '70s vintage Yugoslav cartoons. They used to sneak them through on saturday morning TV back in the '70s. Very stylized and retro.
I would agree, and also I would agree with the "trash cartoon" angle as well. I think she would be big on stuff like Sealab 2021, Super Teen Hunger Force and so forth. I also see her as a voracious Anime fiend too. One that turned a certain other person onto the stuff...
Yeah, big time. I could actually see her enjoying lots of Avery MGM cartoons and the work of the true auteur of Termite Terrace, Bob Clampett. His Dadaist, sarcastic view of life would mesh with her own. She also got turned onto Anime by Jane and that's where the more existential side of her comes out to play. I can see her absolutely transfixed by the more cerebral side of Anime, stuff like Serial Experiments: Lain and Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Secretly she has a thing for Disney Princesses. She won't admit it, but she does.
Actually I would see Quinn enjoying PPG more than Tiffany. There is a sophisticated side of the humor there that she would completely get. However, I could see Quinn, Tiffany and Stacy walking around with PPG plushie backpacks and wearing PPG babydoll t-shirts. They would wear it for the trendy factor.
Andrea Somehow I doubt "Beetlejuice" would be a favorite. After all, Goths are just like us, these just dress differently. Batman, however, is a whole different story. Prowler of the night, seeks out evil, opens up a can of the fancy kind of whoop-patoot, and is backed only by an urban legend (People see him as a demonic monster). Brittany (See Andrea. Cheerleaders may be airheads, but they DO strive to be athletic, and who's more nimble than Batman?) Charles Mostly anime porn, Adult Swim, and South Park. Daria I'm willing to bet that Daria likes not-ready-for-TV toons on the net, like Shockwave toons (Example: "I Like to Beat Things With My Bat) Helen Since Helen probably thinks that cartoons nowdays are too violent for kids, I'm guessing that she's got old tapes of Strawberry Shortcake and Rainbow Brite (Maybe even Pinwheel). Jake After watching Starship Troopers (aka: "The Bug Movie"), Jake probably watches the CGI animated show just to quench his thirst for watching things die (A product of Military School, no doubt). Jane Probably Space Ghost: C2C, Clerks, and (See Daria). Jodie Liquid Television and Cartoon Sushi. Kevin Since Kevin is the QB of a High School football team, there's a chance he'll be drafted for the military. I'd say he watches G.I.Joe, since I can just imagine Kevin yelling "Yo Joe!" everytime someone gives him an order. Mack If you were a boy growing up in the 80s, there's a 9 out of 10 chance that you were watching giant shape-changing robots engage in violent military skirmishes amongst the innocent human population. That's right, I'm talking about .... GO-BOTS! Just kidding, that really sucked.
